Maine Trade Scholarship

Seacoast Security, dedicated to being New England’s most trusted provider of monitored home and business safety, is committed to protecting what matters most to our customers through dependable security services and high-quality products. As part of that commitment, Seacoast Security will award two $1,000 scholarships to students pursuing education for an electrical occupation at a Maine school.
Eligibility
- Open to high school seniors or current college students who are enrolled in or have been accepted for full-time study at a Maine educational institution in a program preparing them for an electrical occupation for Fall 2025.
- Applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5.
- Applicants must be residents of the United States.
Application instructions
- Apply online. Applicants must be attending (or planning to attend) a Maine school for an electrical occupation program in Fall 2025 and meet the residency and GPA requirements listed above.
Important dates and review process
- Application deadline: April 30, 2025.
- A Seacoast Security scholarship committee will carefully evaluate all submissions and check that each application follows the stated instructions.
Award disbursement and contact
- Two students will each receive a $1,000 scholarship. Payments will be sent directly to the recipient’s school on the student’s behalf.
- Scholarship winners must provide required payment information to Karma Haynes at Seacoast Security.
