Overview Each academic year, Texas UPMA provides college scholarships for students who are entering their first year of college or trade school and who are descendants of Texas UPMA members. Eligible applicants include children, stepchildren, grandchildren, or step-grandchildren of current Texas UPMA members, retired members, or members who are deceased. The State Board of Directors will set the scholarship amounts based on funds from the prior year’s contributions, chapter fundraising, the endowment, and monies allocated in the Board’s budget.
